Ricardo
Herz's violin explodes with power and passion! Classically
trained and with a degree from the prestigious Berklee
College of Music in Boston, his technique is as impeccable
as his improvisations enlightened. He draws his inspiration
from the extremely rich Brazilian musical traditions
of choro, samba, tribal rhythms, and all points in between.
He then infuses jazz, folk, classical and world traditions,
into the mix to create a whirlwind of musical delights.
Moving between the fertile musical cultures of Brazil
and France, Herz collaborates with a wealth of prominent
musicians and has appeared in many of the world's top
festivals. This will be Herz's first appearance in Asia,
but as his music is so infectious, it will certainly
not be his last.
